James R. Risener, III

Biography

James R. Risener III is an associate in the firm's General Litigation Group. He focuses his practice primarily on complex commercial restructurings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

After law school, Jake served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mary F. Walrath of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. While in law school, Jake served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sage M. Sigler of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeffery W. Cavender of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and a legal extern in the United States Trustee Program of the U.S. Department of Justice.
