Denny Contributes to New Edition of Vendor Contracting Project: Cybersecurity Checklist

Along with Claudia Rast, partner Bill Denny led the preparation of the second edition of the Vendor Contracting Project: Cybersecurity Checklist published by the American Bar Association’s Cybersecurity Legal Task Force. The checklist is directed to solo and small firm attorneys who interact with vendors, often involving access to a client's sensitive data or internal systems. It highlights how practitioners who are not steeped in the nuances of data privacy and data security can minimize cybersecurity risks in their contractual transactions with third-party vendors.

Denny has a business and litigation practice, focusing on commercial and corporate transactions, vendor management, mergers and acquisitions, data privacy and security and information technology. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
