Potter Anderson Counsels Global Infrastructure Partners in its $12.5B Sale to BlackRock
BlackRock has agreed to buy private-equity firm Global Infrastructure Partners in a cash-and-stock deal valued at more than $12 billion.
The acquisition will help BlackRock expands its focus on infrastructure and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024.
Potter Anderson advised Global Infrastructure Partners on the deal. The team was led by partners Mark Morton, Alyssa Ronan, Rebecca Salko, and associate Garrett Lyons.
News of the deal was reported by the Wall Street Journal, and other major business and legal publications.
