Four Potter Anderson Attorneys Named to 2025 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America
Four Potter Anderson attorneys -- Partners Bindu Palapura, Kevin R. Shannon, and Peter J. Walsh, Jr., as well as Senior Counsel Myron T. Steele, -- were recently named to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America list, which honors “…the best litigators the U.S. has to offer – in antitrust, intellectual property, white collar and investigations, securities and corporate governance litigation, and a vast array of class actions, product liability and other complex civil litigation.” The publication’s editorial team selected the 500 honorees via submissions, journalistic research and editorial vetting.
Palapura focuses her practice on patent, trademark and trade secret litigation on behalf of clients ranging from startups to the Fortune 50, and across a wide range of industries from pharmaceuticals and chemicals to software and medical devices. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the District of Delaware Federal Bar Association as co-chair of the IP Section, and is also on the Board of the South Asian Bar Association of Delaware.
Shannon practices primarily in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation, and has substantial experience in litigating stockholder class, derivative and other actions in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He also has been involved in numerous cases involving partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies, and frequently counsels directors, stockholders, and other parties on their rights and obligations under Delaware law.
Steele is the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware, has presided over major corporate litigation and LLC and limited partner governance disputes, and writes frequently on issues of corporate document interpretation and corporate governance. He has published over 400 opinions resolving disputes among members of limited liability companies, and limited partnerships, and between shareholders and management of both publicly traded and close corporations.
Walsh chairs the Firm’s Executive Committee and is a partner in the Corporate Litigation Group. He regularly handles Court of Chancery proceedings, including stockholder class and derivative actions, summary proceedings pursuant to the General Corporation Law, and disputes involving alternative entities. He also frequently counsels officers, directors, and board committees in matters of Delaware corporate law, primarily in the context of ongoing or anticipated litigation.
