Barrist Named to The 2024 Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Real Estate Lawyers List

Potter Anderson partner Joy Barrist was recently named to The 2024 Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Real Estate Lawyers list. According to Lawdragon, “This is our inaugural edition of this guide and we are extremely proud to recognize this talented and accomplished group of lawyers who are unsurpassed in their accomplishments in real estate transactions, development, land use, finance, REITs and more.” The publication’s editorial team selected the 500 honorees via submissions, journalistic research and editorial vetting.

Barrist is the vice practice group leader of the firm’s Transactions and Corporate Counseling Group as well as chair of the firm's Women's Initiative. She focuses her practice on the finance, acquisition, sale, lease, and development of complex multimillion-dollar real estate projects. Although the bulk of her practice is in Delaware and Pennsylvania, she also works with clients on projects around the country and internationally. Barrist regularly represents banks and lending institutions, private equity firms, non-profit organizations, investors, developers, owners, management companies, landlords, and tenants.
