Potter Anderson Announces New Partners, Counsel
Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP announced that J. Matthew Belger and Bindu A. Palapura have been elected partners of the firm, and Ryan M. Murphy has been promoted to counsel. Belger is a partner in the firm’s Corporate Litigation group, Palapura is a partner in the firm’s IP Litigation group and Murphy is counsel in the firm’s Corporate Transactions group.
“Matt, Bindu and Ryan have successfully established strong relationships with the firm’s clients and are known for their excellent work,” said Kathleen Furey McDonough, the firm’s chair. “We celebrate their accomplishments and contributions to the firm, and we are confident they will continue to help our clients manage their most sophisticated and complex business matters.”
Belger focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery, including breach of fiduciary duty actions, contests for corporate control, breach of contract claims, alternative entity litigation, and statutory proceedings under the Delaware General Corporation Law. Belger earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.S. from Florida State University.
Palapura focuses her practice on patent and trademark litigation on behalf of clients ranging from startups to the Fortune 50, and across a wide range of industries from pharmaceuticals and chemicals to software and medical devices. She earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.
Murphy practices in the area of corporate transactions and concentrates his practice on representing buyers and sellers in negotiated acquisitions and divestitures. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden and his B.A. from Mount St. Mary’s University.
