Potter Anderson Advises Conflicts Committee on $850 Million Deal
MGM Resorts International, a global entertainment company, and MGP Growth Properties, a leading REIT in the entertainment space, announced the planned acquisition of the Empire City Casino and Yonkers Raceway in Yonkers, New York. Valued at $850 million, the deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019.
Potter Anderson’s team serving as counsel to MGP’s conflicts committee was led by partners Mark Morton, Tom Mullen and Joy Barrist with associates Alyssa Ronan and Noah Chamberlain.
