Morales Elected Chair of the Delaware State Bar Multi-cultural Judges & Lawyers Section
Katelin Morales has been elected chair of the Delaware State Bar Association's Multi-cultural Judges & Lawyers Section for 2023-2024. The general purposes of the Section are to further the objectives of the Delaware State Bar Association (the “DSBA”), further the interests of attorneys, judges and members of the community of diverse ethnic backgrounds, foster communication and understanding among diverse groups within both the legal and greater community, encourage the public service rendered by its Members and promote the professional development and interests of its Members.
Morales focuses her practice on complex commercial restructurings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. She has represented various types of clients through the chapter 11 process, such as debtors, lenders, official committees of unsecured creditors, secured creditors, and indenture trustees. Katelin also has experience litigating complex commercial disputes that arise in chapter 11 proceedings. She represents debtors and other parties in interest in a wide range of bankruptcy litigation, including contested plan confirmations, fraud, and avoidance actions.
