Brown Receives Sonia Schorr Sloan Service Award

David Brown, of counsel and former chair of Potter Anderson, received the Sonia Schorr Sloan Service Award from Planned Parenthood of Delaware at a dinner on May 10 in Wilmington, Del. The award, named after a former PPDE president, recognized David for his long and dedicated service to the organization. Brown has served on PPDE’s board of directors since 1997 and chaired the board from 2012 to 2014.

Brown became of counsel to the firm in 2010 after nearly 30 years as a partner practicing principally in the area of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing arrangements, and business counseling. Currently, he devotes his working time exclusively to charitable and pro bono endeavors.
