Russell Speaking at Delaware Difference Makers In-Person, Virtual Sessions

On September 12, partner Lauren E.M. Russell will lead Delaware Difference Makers’ in-person and virtual discussions on “Department of Labor Changes and How They Impact Nonprofits.”

The discussion will include:

• An overview of the new DOL rule that went into effect July 1, 2024
• Effects of redefining salary thresholds for Delaware nonprofit exempt employees
• Re-evaluating employee overtime eligibility, tracking and compensation
• Additional effects of threshold increases scheduled for January 1, 2025.

A morning in-person session will be held at The Chancery Market. A virtual lunchtime session will be presented online in the afternoon.
