Maxwell Discusses LLCs With Jumpstart Wilmington’s Future Developers
Mike Maxwell presented to Jumpstart Wilmington’s current cohort of future developers in the City of Wilmington. He discussed the basics of limited liability corporations, how LLCs can be structured, and what is involved in creating and maintaining an LLC.
Maxwell advises clients on matters of Delaware corporate and business law in transactions involving Delaware alternative entities and corporations, including investment and private equity fund transactions, fund formations, joint ventures, cross border transactions, mergers, acquisitions, asset sales and purchases, dissolutions and restructurings. He also represents both lenders and borrowers in a variety of commercial financing transactions, including asset-based financing, real estate mortgage financings and other credit related transactions.
Jumpstart Wilmington is a joint venture between Cinnaire, a nonprofit financial partner that supports community and economic revitalization initiatives, and the University of Delaware’s Biden School of Public Policy and Administration.
