Labor & Employment Law Seminar: Predicting, Preventing and Responding to Workplace Violence
Labor & Employment Law Seminar: Predicting, Preventing and Responding to Workplace Violence
We've all seen the terrifying headlines. Almost daily, there are reports of violence erupting in workplaces across the country, ranging from terroristic threats and stalking, to physical assaults, to mass casualty events. Employers need to take all reasonable precautions to protect employees from workplace violence, but employers often struggle with developing an effective workplace violence prevention and response program.
Please join us for a compelling, candid, and can’t-miss seminar that examines workplace violence from the perspectives of threat assessment, proactive prevention strategies, identifying, managing, and de-escalating potentially violent employees, and responding to active incidents of violence. We’ll also discuss legal issues associated with an employer’s efforts to address problematic workplace behaviors that implicate mental disabilities.
WHEN: Tuesday, April 18, 2023
WHERE: Riverfront Events
760 Justison Street
Wilmington, DE 19801
