Sarah DiLuzio Appointed to Goodwill Board

Sarah E. DiLuzio, an associate in Potter Anderson & Corroon's litigation group, was appointed by the board of directors of Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County, Inc., to the position of first vice chair.  She served previously as second vice chair and will be serving a one-year term in her new position.  Goodwill Industries of Delaware and Delaware County, Inc., is the oldest nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization providing vocational services in the state of Delaware.  

Ms. DiLuzio focuses her legal practice primarily in the areas of labor and employment and general commercial litigation.  She represents employers from a wide variety of industries throughout Delaware, providing counsel regarding personnel policies and practices, including employee discipline, reductions in force, wrongful discrimination, and harassment.  She defends employers in employment-related lawsuits brought in the  Delaware State and Federal Courts, as well as in litigation regarding employee benefits, including claims made under ERISA.  She also defends related actions before the EEOC and Delaware Department of Labor.
